Dear Friends,

We are back to a more normal routine. LaDawn is back at Bethany and doing fine. She loved her summer here and is missing El Salvador greatly but she knows that Bethany is where she should be right now.  She is working hard as a mission's coordinator. She is also working at Bethany in President Wilson's office.

Jorel and Shayla are back in school and doing well. They had a great summer. Jorel went to Kansas City and worked with DeLonn's brother's father-in-law. He has a window washing business so Jorel helped him wash windows for 4 weeks. He loved making money and spending it! He then went to California for Basketball camp at Bethany. When he got there he was the only one who showed up for his camp. So he had both coaches all to himself. He had a great time, learned a lot and is exicted about going back next year for college. The coaches really liked him and thinks he is really talented. They said that they are looking forward to his being a part of the Bethany basketball team.

Shayla and her friend Roxie went to my family in St. Joseph, MO. They stayed with my brother and sister. My brother and both sisters took them on a vacation to South Dakota. Shayla learned to drive and had a great time driving everyone around St. Joe. She had a blast spending my money. In fact, she wrote me and asked if she could stay in the States. Of course that was a definite no, she will be leaving us in two years, which is soon enough.

DeLonn's back to teaching full time. He has classes at the Bible School and Christian University. He has been traveling a lot with the Center of Muslim Ministries. He has gone to Peru, Venezuela, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. These seminars are to get Latin countries excited about sending missionaries to Muslim countries. The seminars have all been great and people are being called to these difficult countries.

I am trying to get everything on my "to do" list done. Letters, reports, accounting, etc. One thing that has been on this list for years has been to design a web page. I have started working on that. I have never done this before so it is a big learning experience. I will let you know when I have been successful and get it on the web. I have also started teaching English at the Christian University and with the missionaries that are home on furlough at the Missionary Training Center (CAMAD).

Speaking of CAMAD, The plans are in the final stages of approval with the government, the ground has been cleared, and the Evangelistic Center (our largest church here in the country) has given us $20,000.00 to start the foundation for the CAMAD building. It is interesting seeing how God works. We tried for over three years to raise money for the Training Center and only were able to raise about $10,000.00 in the States. We have contacted churches for MAPS teams and no one seems to want to come. Then the church in El Salvador sees the vision and starts to invest funds they don't have into CAMAD. Please keep this project in prayer. We only have the money now for the foundation. Pray that the Lord will supply the need for the rest of the training center.
